Brisa Flores is a Latina woman who aspires to leave a mark in the film world. She is the daughter of a Salvadoran man and a Mexican woman and the first in her family to attend college. She was born and raised in California and learned to care for herself and her siblings. When she was not in charge of taking care of her siblings, she found comfort in watching television and films. Since she was a young girl, she dreamed of having a role in the world of television and film. That is simply what it was, it was just a silly dream that a little Latina girl had growing up.

While she attended community college, she was a writer for the college’s newspaper; she wrote articles about webinars, media reviews, and sports and even had her column where she talked about topics and issues in the film industry. 

Her column pieces are just a part of a giant puzzle as to why she wants to become a producer in the film industry. She wants to make a change where she can represent and tell the stories of those hardly ever represented in film and television.
